Makweti Safari Lodge is situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. This luxurious, intimate camp exudes a quiet grace and charm remnant of a bygone era.  Shaped from natural rock, with teak decks overhanging the Makweti gorge, Makweti is a private sanctuary surrounded by pristine wilderness.

Five elegant thatch and stone suites complete this exotic hideaway. Each unique, secluded suite is individually decorated with antique treasures and plush furnishings, to ensure an intimate and romantic experience. Each suite flows on to a private deck, with inviting views of the wild reserve.
