CHACMA BUSH CAMP

Located in the Maseke Balule Game Reserve within the Greater Kruger area, Chacma Bush Camp is a family-friendly, Big 5 Safari camp.

From views of the Olifants River and old mica caves to mountainous ridges and boulder koppies, Chacma Bush Camp offers guests a wonderland of exciting landscapes to explore.

Self-drivers and fly-in guests are invited to come and enjoy a safari getaway where elephant sightings right in front of the camp are a regular feature.

About the Rooms

In keeping with an intimate safari experience, the camp sleeps a total of 10 people in 3 chalets, surrounded by the camp’s wild and rugged environment.

KLIPSPRINGER: The open-plan Klipspringer chalet sleeps a family of 6 people (4 adults or 2 adults and 4 children) in a King-size bed/converter, sleeper couch and 2 stretcher beds. This chalet has an outdoor shower and en suite toilet.

STEENBOK: Steenbok chalet sleeps 4 people and adjoins the main area of Chacma Bush Camp, with a direct and exquisite view of the waterhole. While its main bedroom flows through to the patio, its bathroom is expansive.

GRYSBOK: Grysbok chalet is located adjacent to Klipspringer and has two separate bedrooms sleeping 2 adults in the main bedroom and 2 children in the smaller room. It has a large indoor shower and en suite bathroom, as well as views of the wilderness, pool and main area.

Activities & Experiences

Guests can enjoy daily morning and evening game drives of about 3 – 4 hours long during their stay. Sundowners are included in evening game drives.

Bespoke sundowner sessions or Bush breakfasts can be arranged upon request.
