On the banks of the Olifants River and set in a riverine forest is Ezulwini River Lodge, an idyllic retreat that is near two of the largest trees in South Africa – a sycamore fig with a diameter in excess of five metres, and a leadwood tree in excess of a two metre diameter.
But the magnificent trees in the indigenous forest is not the sole reason to visit, Ezulwini River Lodge is fantastic for wildlife sightings amid a backdrop of a busy waterhole. Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants and massive riverine trees make for an excellent venue for avid bird watchers.
Ezulwini River Lodge can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 rooms, making for a peaceful and intimate Kruger retreat.
